The Castle Of Fu Manchu (1969)

More shenanigans this time, what with a dastardly plot destined to leave his opponents with a frosty reception ahem.
Since this is a HAT flick, tis saner in structure, though not in content
I've always found that these Rohmer adaptations he helmed can descend into madness at the end and this one is no different
Richard Greene squares his jaw to do battle with the dishonolable fiend one more time.
Lee has a bloody cheek complaining about anything when he knocked these out by the (half) dozen ahem. Anachronistic at the time, they are now charming time capsules all of their own (apart from the stock footage )

Dark Mission: Flowers Of Evil (1988)

What a cast.
I can see why some find this one lacklustre. For myself, I rather enjoyed seeing Richard Harrison send Chris Mitchum off to do battle with Christopher Lee, with Brigitte Lahaie's help!! Ahem.
The CIA always loved to poke their nose in down south so to speak and this tale of drugs and leverage is no different. For all that, it was odd not seeing Lina anywhere.
