I'm not keen on the covers myself either. That image they've used for the front is also not of a great quality. In the flesh it looks terrible, particularly his face and hand, it looks like they've upscaled a low quality image.

I prefer the US theatrical "grim reaper" poster artwork.

I think the cover looks pretty awful as well. Nothing beats Shriek Show's imo.

The Shriek Show artwork is from the US release by Bedford Entertainment (who also released TENEBRAE as UNSANE).

My copy (from Zavvi) arrived this morning but, as I haven't yet removed the plastic wrapping, I haven't decided on artwork yet.

Hey guys! New here.

I pre-ordered my copy of this from Amazon, and it's on its way to me as we speak. I was always gonna buy this for Shameless' fantastic set of extras, whether or not it was cut, despite the fact I also own the uncut region 1 Shriek Show disc. Can't wait to get hold of it! Looks fantastic.
Such a shame to hear about David Hess passing away, too. He was fantastic in this film (it's my favourite role of his), and he was also amazing in Last House on the Left. Always manages to scare the hell out of me, just with one facial expression!

RIP David. You will be missed.

I just heard from Shameless about this - apparently it's just a little gift from Shameless to their fans...

My DVD arrived today, and what a mouth-watering package it is! Can't wait to give it a whirl. This, with Cannibal Holocaust a VERY close second, is the best Shameless release so far, in my opinion.
And as someone who is very interested in film censorship and the work of the BBFC, I find the extras a very worthy addition too. Should be a very interesting watch.

Good work Shameless.

Is the PDF listed on the DVD menu as an extra feature or did you find it by mistake when loading the disc into your computer?

It isn't listed amongst the extra features on the back of the box and I didn't realise it was there until ecc mentioned it -- certainly an interesting and very welcome 'free gift' from Shameless!
