Well, she was nearly strangled to death. hahaha.

And yes, Cass' departure was really horrible!

Oh yes, I'd forgotten about Belinda Johns mistaking her for Sonia. Overall, I didn't think the character was too bad. However, the comedy scenes where she knocks out Cass with a punch on the nose were truly cringeworthy.

The thing with Cass Parker's departure is that it all just seemed to come out of the blue and felt a bit rushed. I remember that she had been attending the fete, where Myra escapes, and then all of a sudden she just seemed to lose it after Bobbie had lost the baby and before you knew it, Dennis Cruikshank had karate chopped her round the shoulders and she'd been carted off to the mental hospital never to be seen again.

Babs McMillan was/is a great actress though; one of Wentworth's finest imo. Cass was a brilliant inmate.

I totally agree. I loved Cass would have loved Bea to have met her.
