'Tis pretty shite when you've got an idea of where you want to go and then you hit a roadblock like that (like I say man, same story with me I'm afraid) but then I suppose no one ever said it was meant to be easy eh? Am tempted to go round cursing the government for the whole mess like many already have but I think we probably need to be thinking a bit more proactively than that if we're gonna progress anywhere these days.

Yup, certainly know that feeling mate; did my degree in film so that somewhat limits my employment options atm too. To be honest though, never really thought my degree would get me anywhere in the first place though; just did it for the love of the subject itself really. Was originally gonna go postgrad when I left with the intention of eventually teaching undergrads myself but due to the current economic shitstorm I've had to go back to the drawing board and reconsider my options for now. Gotta learn some new skills me thinks or be prepared to end up stuck working in retail

im doing computer security which is good but also bad as no company will hire grads for that kinda work so gotta work in other area to build experience up first.

Yup, you do get some mercenaries trying to flog stuff for extortionate prices online sometimes but like you say, there are some bargains to be had if you're discerning.

Love Trick r Trick myself btw, has gotta be one of my favourite horror films to have come out in the last decade. Heard some people describe it as a Pulp Fiction for the horror genre and I guess that's not a bad comparison by any measure
