Kevin Doyle is a decent player but he's not the type of goal scorer you can pin all your hopes on. Thankfully though, you do have Robbie Kean. John Walters is good - I actually didn't know he chose to represent Ireland. I've not seen enough of Leon Best to have much of an opinion on him. Not sure how Trappatoni can have much of an opinion on his players if doesn't bother to watch any of their games, even Capello did that! But can't complain I guess as you qualified for the Euro's.

Shay Given and Richard Dunne are quality - I think Given is one of the top 'keepers in Europe, he's phenomenal at times. There are three decent Irish players at Everton in Gibson, Coleman and Duffy (who has just broke into the first team)

Great news nordic. Good to have another Red on here. Gojirosan is also a supporter. I've had a season ticket since the 92/93 season, 20 years in August.

Don't know about you, but this season feels to be collapsing, we seem to have bought players during the summer who may have been big fish at their previous clubs yet the weight of playing for Liverpool appears to be too much. Adam has been pretty poor since he missed that penalty then scored the own goal in the next game, Henderson appears scared to try anything except pass sideways, and Downing? lets not go there eh.
