I've never drunk snakebite but it's probably an ideal drink to try, with or without the Jack Daniel's, on a warm day in the summer

I just take a sip of JD followed by a sip of snakebite. The very first sip can taste tart but after that it makes for a nice combo. I don't recommend it though. It's just a personal thing that i like.

I guess it's snakebite and whisky chasers in small quantity.

How is the snakebite and Jack Daniel's combination – is it something you recommend? I have an open bottle of JD and some lager in the garage, but I don't have any cider.

I just noticed your visitor message, thanks for the birthday greetings.

I didn't do anything special on Thursday. I went to work, seeing a couple of clients, then did some paperwork and chilled out in the evening with a stir fry and a few glasses of Jameson whiskey.

Not that it's special, but going to the cinema the next morning (to see Captain Marvel) was a good way of spending a few hours.

Did you do anything special for your birthday yesterday, Nos?
