Zeb is two on Friday. There's a kind of party the weekend after, but this weekend is just hardcore French family time, which means good food at least!

Yep, J K L - good to get 'em in before we record on Tues. I should maybe mention this on Twitter or something - getting lazy with the bollocks.

Oh yeah, that sounds like me lol!

Well I look forward to your quiz whenever you get the time to do it! How old is Zeb anyhoo - you got the whole kids party thing to organise?

    I'll get my A-Z's in over the weekend - it's J K L aint it?

You wrote this on your wall the other day:

Oh yeah I've never tried that stills thing - what did you do? Take a load of screengrabs and post them one by one? Or is there a swift and convenient way?

Happy to provide a full idiots guide to quiz making (I just wanna play someone elses quiz!) - I needed one myself to begin with, but it's easy to pick up - did you download dvdshrink?

I thought it was probably to me, but it never showed on my wall. It's old anyway.

Loved the Coffin Joe pics, yet another gaping hole/wound in my film watching.

I just read what I think was meant to be a reply to me, but was just on your conversation wall thingy?!

I'm gasping for time at the moment as it's Zeb's birthday on Fri and the in-laws are coming, plus I have to watch 6 films before Tuesday as we're doing a double recording session for MV!
Really want to get a clips quiz together though.

RE: film stills. Just use screen grabs form VLC. Or have you done it now?

I think they'll always be out of my price range alas. I've never used one, so I'm not anti them like some folk, but I'm more than content with my Dell which is going strong after 7 years (just about). £800 cheaper! You'd be mad not to. My mate is an artist and he swears by his HP and it's got one of those twizzle round screens that turns into a tablet - amazing.

I might give the clips quiz a go tomorrow. I've just done my first fave stills post on the forum thanks to Prince_Vajda who helped me with the technical side - which was needed so I might have to take you up on the offer of assistance.

Yeah same here - being a 'graphics person' people seem surprised when they find I don't work on a Mac. Need to upgrade my current laptop, but still can't bring myself to pay those prices! Got my eye on a new HP with Mac-beating specs, for £800 cheaper...

Just trying to work out my new phone as well - it's too 'smart' for me, bloody technology...

Let me know if you need a clips quiz walkthrough. I've already gathered some new clips...

Indeed - it's the most democratic entity ever (alas).

Aha, just seen that I do have said Movie Maker on my programs list - simply never noticed it before. I'm most certainly not one of those Mac people (I'm too poor).

Yeah I've seen the bonkers posts on the Mondo forum when the nutters get uppity! Ah well, that's the internet, innit?

Hmmm, dunno about the Movie Maker - I just used the one that came with my laptop - part of the standard Windows package - you're not one of those Mac people are you ?

Oh yeh, I haven't tried the quiz thing yet, but I'm not sure which Windows Movie Maker to get. Is it a free download too?
