You can have him. You offered more money to him and he took it. If he doesn't want to play for Liverpool we don't want him.

He'll be off as soon as someone offers him more.

    Too true.
If Rooney was a quarter as good as he reckoned before the Ukraine then we would have done better.

I see Ralf Rangnick has joined Salzburg along with Gerard Houllier.

Looks like Villas Boas is on his way to Spurs.

Expect a team in dissaray by Christmas.

I'd hang myself if he took Jelavic with him!

I'm am worried a bit but Moyes is on too good a wage to leave so I think he'll stay. Certainly hope so anyway!

4th place was fine really. Chelsea's win was exceptional circumstances, and good luck to them, well done etc. Bastards!

When Levy pays £150m in transfer fees each summer and offers wages of £250k a week then he can sack managers for coming fourth.

    I still don't get why Harry's gone.
You played the most exciting football consistently during his reign and were always a joy to watch. (The same can't be said of Moyes' team)
Harry made Modric world class and built the team round him. If i recall he was garbage before.
You destroyed the Milan clubs under his reign. Bale saw Maicon, one of the worlds best full backs and practically killed his career in one game.
Looking at message boards Spurs fans seem pleased he's gone as you need to "step up to the next level".
I hope Spurs fans aren't getting as deluded as Liverpool fans.

So here we are, on to the second review in my '30s/'40s retrospective and still no mention of Universal Studios!

Based on a short story by Richard Connell, which I'll freely confess to having never read, while on a boat trip through potentially dangerous waters, a group of friends including famous big game hunter Robert Rainsford (Joel McCrae) are busy discussing recent exploits

No retrospective of the classics of the '30's and '40's would be complete without a mention of Dwain Esper's 'Maniac'. Esper is a legend in what can be termed as the 'Educational' movie. In actual fact, he was just a master at cheap exploitation, preying on people's paranoia of drugs, sex and whatever else he could potentially make a bit of cash from. You can achieve a small insight into the...

Welcome all to the blob's den. As i've mentioned before, I'm a huge fan of early talking horror, especially from the 1930's and 1940's. Yes, a lot of it is tame by anywhere near modern standards but these movies laid the ground for much of what was to come. You'll find the first ever official zombie movie, countless vampires, mad experiments, gothic tales and even some bona-fide pure exploitation. Some are so steeped in atmosphere that they still have the power to scare or at least send the odd...
