Dead by Dawn in Scotland is worth the trip - works out cheaper than Frightfest - good strong independent fan friendly festival - we have the FAB store there - also Abbertoir Horror Film fest in Wales is dmably good fun - that's in November - we put up a list of festivals on the FAB Press website - plus we hope to hold a special one day event this year in London - I'll keep Cult Labs posted....

I will indeed try, is there any festivals coming up in the near future?
-
Yeah - fun days - I'm still active on the scene - I wrote BLAZING MAGNUMS and THE ILSA CHRONICLES for Midnight Media and work for Harvey at FAB Press at UK Cult Film Festivals - some really good ones take place - kinds like the old days - try and come along....

Don't worry about it, I'd forgotten I'd asked you that question myself. That's a real shame about the fanzines dying out.I remember reading some of your articles and enjoying them immensely! Glad to see you're still interested in the genre.I stilll remember the time when the only way to see uncut horror movies that you read about in genre mags & fanzines was through buying bootleg vids from the classified ads in the back of them. :-)

Hi Vampix - sorry in the lateness in replying but I thought I accidently deleted your message - you must of thought I had been incredibly rude!

Hi there Tris, your name seems very familiar to me, did you used to write for The Dark Side?
