Favourite Rock Vocalists
It's probably been done before, but I'm just curious to know everyone's favourite rock/metal vocalists.

Oat Meal singers? Jonathan Davis from Korn, of course!!!! Mr Dike - you are just making work for yourself when it comes to (properly) re-titling this thread, and deleting the comical replies so far!!!!!

SERIOUS When it comes to rock singers, very few people can come close to Ronnie James Dio. His voice is just amazing Some singers' voices fit the band they are in. Ozzy couldn't sing to save his life, but his vocals fitted in perfectly with the doomy music produced by early Sabbath Freddie Mercury was the perfect singer with Queen. When Paul Rodgers took over, the music might have been the same, but it was a different band The vocals by Geddy Lee on the first Rush album really annoy me, but they are good for the following albums!

1phil2x1.jpg Phil Anselmo was always one of my favourite Metal vocalists . A very versatile vocalist the change between Pantera , Superjoint Ritual and Down is proof of this.

At the peak of their powers in the late eighties / early nineties Skid Row were one of my favourite bands partly because they had such a great rock singer in Sebastian Bach, who could do the ballads and rockers with equal credibility. |
