Vinyl Soundtracks

Just a heads up there are lots of reports of faulty Fire Walk With Me vinyls there seems to be a replacement program going but people are saying there is alot of loud popping on one of the records different people reporting different records and sides so check if you have already got one. I seem to have gotten lucky mine sounds great.

My Twin Peaks soundtrack from Deathwaltz sounded crap as well, I had to send mine back to get a replacement which has made me weary about buying this one because £40 is a lot of money for something that could potentially have pops and surface noise.

It's really sad because those 2 records have been so highly anticipated by me for the last 2 years and they final products have been a bit of a let down. That being said the packages look amazing!

I was worried when i saw it this morning because i had not listened my mine so i rushed home after work to make sure it was ok €50 over here obviously their quality control is lacking big time to allow two releases go out like this i have not had any trouble with any of their releases so far is this a common thing or just the Twin Peaks releases.

It never used to be a common thing with them, since moving to Mondo and re-locating to America I haven't been buying as many of their records because they cost twice as much as they used to so I don't know what the current quality is.

However, as soon as they announced these 2 and said where they were getting them pressed, a lot of vinyl collectors were upset because the factory has a bad reputation for poor quality pressings.

I went into the Rought Trade shop in Nottingham yesterday, and they had this in their sale bin for £10



I don't have a record player, so I didn't get it, but I have since done a bit of research online, and I think I missed a real gem!!
