1 Attachment(s) Bizarro World! Kate Bush as featured in a 1978 Japanese magazine advert for the men's watch range from Seiko During this promotional tour of Japan, Kate became a sensation in the country when she won second place in a nationally-televised song concert. As a result, she was offered a sponsorship deal with Seiko, and appeared in at least one television advert for them |

1 Attachment(s) Contract for Thin Lizzy to play at the Torquay Pavilion in 1973 Clause 5 is interesting, stating that the band is not permitted to appear at any other venues within a certain distance and within a certain time both before and after the show Presumably this is still used today, and explains why so many bands only play a single date at a festival and no other venues around the country |
That clause is still used today, but it's usually something like within 20 miles, 4 weeks prior to after to said date. Festivals would most likely want exclusivity for the country for massive bands. |
1 Attachment(s) KISS as they looked when they played their first show at the Popcorn Pub in Queens on January 30, 1973. Allegedly less than ten people showed up to see them! It's interesting to see the genesis of what the make-up would become |
The 02 Arena in London, formerly the Millennium Dome, has been heavy hit by Storm Eunice! |
