I'm desperate for him to do some headline shows in the UK this year - not a festival date!

Happy Birthday Alice <3

According to 'Rolling Stone' Magazine, Alice along with the Hollywood Vampires (inc. Johnny Depp, Aerosmith's Joe Perry and Guns N' Roses' Duff McKagan) will perform at tomorrow's Grammy awards ceremony in Los Angeles performing a tribute to Lemmy as well as a new song called "As Bad As I Am". The new song is apparently a bonus track on the (inevitable) deluxe edition of the Hollywood Vampires album which also includes 'I'm A Boy' (The Who) and 'Seven And Seven Is' (Love) and is released on February 12th.

Back to 'Flush The Fashion', and the final track on the first side is entitled 'Aspirin Damage' which is possibly the album's most interesting song - somehow it manages to sound both lighthearted and mean at the same time.

Musically, it still too 'new-wave' for my liking, but for some reason, the lyrics remind me of 'Unfinished Sweet' from the 'Billion Dollar Babies' album

Alice Cooper - vocals
Davey Johnstone - Lead Guitar
Fred Mandel - Guitar, Keyboards
Dennis Conway - Drums
"Cooker" John LoPresti - Bass
Backing Vocals - Flo And Eddie, Joe Pizzulo, Fred Mandel, Ricky 'Rat' Tierney and Keith Allison.

05/10 - Aspirin Damage (Cooper, Johnstone, Mandel)

"I get these killer headaches
I get one everyday
I wake up with a migraine
Since you ran away

Got a load of tension
Burnin' up my neck
Something's wrong with my suspension
So pass those tablets to this wreck

Aspirin damage
Aspirin damage
Kills the pain, destroys the brain
No one told me about Aspirin damage
Sometimes I find myself shakin'
From the medication taken
Oh yeah.

I balance my Excedrin
And Anacins in stacks
I'm a pain reliever junkie
I got a Bayer on my back.

I went to see the doctor
He walked me down the hall
Said "Strip down 'til you're naked
Your suit, your tie and all."

Aspirin damage
Aspirin damage
Kills the pain, destroys the brain
Aspirin damage, my disadvantage
Sometimes I find myself shakin'
From the medication taken
Oh yeah.

Aspirin damage
Aspirin damage
Kills the pain, an' destroys the brain
No one told me 'bout Aspirin damage
Sometimes I find myself shakin'
From the medication taken
Oh yeah

Aspirin damage
Aspirin damage
Kills the pain, an' destroys the brain
No one told me 'bout Aspirin damage
Sometimes I find myself shakin'
From the medication taken
Oh yeah"

Onto the second side, and we get 'Nuclear Infected' and finally it's a guitar based song, altho the synths and drum machines are still there

It's a tight rocker, that harks back to the sound of classic Alice - maybe it was the first song written for the album?

06/10 - Nuclear Infected (Cooper, Johnstone, Mandel)

"I'm nuclear infected
I really don't mind
I just go out when the sun goes down
And have a real good time.
I can clear out any ballgame
In a minute and a half
Just show up - glow up
And have a real good laugh

When I'm happy I glow yellow
When I'm sad I glow blue
And I glow red hot when I'm in bed with you

I'm nuclear infected
Really ain't that bad
In fact it's about the best time
I guess I ever had
I'm nuclear infected
I`m looking for a mate
So I slip on something lead, babe
And go out on a date

When I'm happy I glow yellow
When I'm sad I glow blue, yeah
And I glow red hot when I'm in bed with you

(Nuclear infected)
Don't make me angry
(Nuclear infected)
Don't make shake
(Nuclear infected)
Don't get me to sneeze
(Nuclear infected)
That's a big mistake

I want to live on Three Mile Island
Where things are clean and neat
'Cause we don't have no health freaks
Clutterin' up our streets
I'm nuclear infected
I need something to eat
A China Syndrome Salad
with plutonium and cheese.

When I'm happy I glow yellow
When I'm sad I glow blue
And I glow red hot when I'm in bed with you"

Back to 'Flush The Fashion' again, and seventh song is called 'Grim Facts' which is a loose hard rock song that sounds like it could have been written for the 'From The Inside' album

Alice Cooper - vocals
Davey Johnstone - Lead Guitar
Fred Mandel - Guitar, Keyboards
Dennis Conway - Drums
"Cooker" John LoPresti - Bass
Backing Vocals - Flo And Eddie, Joe Pizzulo, Fred Mandel, Ricky 'Rat' Tierney and Keith Allison.

The video was recorded live at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey on October 10th, 1981 on the 'Special Forces' tour. The quality is not the best, but it does showcase a new look for Alice!

07/10 - Grim Facts (Cooper, Johnstone, Mandel)

"The boy's got problems
The boy's got stress
The boy's got a .38 hidden in his desk
The boy's got a chickie
With four months to go
Grim Facts - every parent better know

The girl's a heavy teaser
Wants to do a private show
She's got a hundred thousand fantasies
She wants the band to know
She likes to brush across my Levis
She likes to watch him grow
Grim Facts - every parent better know
Grim Facts - every parent better know

Red lights, gang fights
Brewing in the heat
Cop cars, gay bars
On your precious street
That ain't so neat

Sister's on the street now
Looking for some Joe
Only got about an hour
To pay for her new nose
Gets a hundred for her body
A nickel for her soul
These are grim facts - every parent better know
Grim facts - every parent better know

Red lights, gang fights
Brewing in the heat
Cop cars, gay bars
On your precious street
Ready to eat

And I'm feeling itchy
Got a fire down below
I'm a walkin' loaded time bomb
Just about to blow
Tries to slide inside my pockets
But it's strictly SRO
Grim facts - every parent better know
Grim facts - every parent better know

Red lights, gang fights
Brewing in the heat
Cop cars, gay bars
On your precious street
That ain't so neat

Mmm Grim facts, you know, growing all the time
Mmm Grim facts, real grim Yeah
Grim Facts"

Song number eight is 'Model Citizen' is also a 'throwback' song, but this time it harks back to the sloppy garage punk of the days of the original Alice Cooper Group - not that this is a bad thing! It features Alice giving one of his 'Broadway Show' vocal performances - actually, he doesn't even sing very much in here, it's a return to the 'talking' performance, while the back-up singers provide the vocal melody

08/10 - Model Citizen (Cooper, Johnstone, Mandel)

"Be an Arab, be a Jew
Be a boxing kangaroo
Beat yourself all black and blue
I don't care

Be a bleeder, be a Cancer
A hemophiliac romancer
Be a crippled disco dancer
Oooh... What a pair

He's a model citizen
I think I've got them fooled them again
He's an ultra-sweety guy
And a master of disguise
He's a model citizen
Just keep believing that my friends
I'm a model citizen

I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American!!!

I'm a hostage in a city of creeps
They've got mercenary guards that watch me sleep
They'd like to kill me slow and bury me deep
In the heart of Texas
I'm a martyr and I'm a sadist
I might be the Savior here to save us
I'm a friend of Sammy Davis, casually

He's a model citizen
I think I've got them fooled again
He's an ultra-sweety guy
I won't let down my disguise
He's a model citizen
Just keep believing that my friends
I'm a model citizen

I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American

I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American"

The penultimate song on the album is called 'Dance Yourself To Death' which is a fun, catchy country-based song

Lyrically it's fun, and Alice even gives a name check to Devo, a band that the album has been criticised for sounding too much like

Alongside Alice, the song is credited to Frank Crandall, who was a bass guitarist that Michael Bruce worked with during 1973/4

09/10 Dance Yourself To Death (Cooper, Crandall)

"Oh my liberated parents
They are gonin' out tonight
They read the hippest magazines
They've loosened their uptights
Dad's wearin' real tight Levis
And some Gucci Tennis shoes
He's got a T-shirt custom made for him
Saying "Give me pot not booze"

I get a kiss good-bye
I get all numb and high
From all the smoke left on their breath
I smile and wish them well
Then I pray like hell
They go and dance themselves to death

Mom's hair's all green and dirty
She wears a high tech Devo Suit
She changed her name to Xerox
She hides Quaaludes in her boots
Oh, me, I'm all real embarrassed
When I hear the things they do
They kinda compromise my social position
And my cool-ativity is suffering too!

I get a kiss good-bye
I get all numb and high
From all the smoke left on their breath
I smile and wish them well
And then I pray like hell
They go and dance themselves to death

Ahh dance
Real hard

I get a kiss good-bye
I get all numb and high
From all the smoke left on their breath
I smile and wish them well
And then I pray like hell
They go and dance themselves to death

Come on momma
Come on daddy
Come on skinny
Come on fatty
Shake it Martha
Shake it Larry
Shake it Mr. Coronary
You gotta dance dance
Come on and dance dance
Dance 'til you're outta breath"

The final song on the album, 'Headlines' is another song with a very catchy chorus. Musically, for some reason it reminds me of the 50's, even tho it is not a 50's song!

10/10 Headlines (Cooper, Johnstone, Mandel)

"Do a show, save a child
Raise a million bucks that'll last a while
Fight at parties, buy a horse
Lose a couple, win that big divorce

I wanna be in the headlines
Anything to be in the headlines

Saw my chance, made my break
I took the biggest float in the Rose parade
Got jailed, no disgrace
A hundred million people saw my face

Called a conference with the press
Announced my marriage plans in a wedding dress
Climb a building at six-below
On New Year's Eve without a stitch of clothes

I wanna be in the headlines
Anything to be in the headlines
As long as they spell my name right
I hope that they catch my best side

Popped out from a cake
At the President's ball. what a big mistake
Fifty guns aimed at me
I was nearly killed but what publicity
Nominated. something big
Stole the hottest scene says the Globe And Trib
Dirty movie comes to light
But I was starving then so that's alright

I wanna be in the headlines
Anything to be in the headlines

As long as the spell my name right
Oh I hope that they catch my best side
Keep my sidewalk status star bright
Feel free to walk on me tonight
Just don't spit on me.

Headlines, headlines,
Headlines, headlines,
Headlines, headlines,
Headlines
(..to fade)"

The 1980 tour dates are a mess. There were lots of changes (dates and/or venues) and some cancelations. Add to that some existing tour itineries are provably wrong and there is a lot of incorrect date info on the net. What IS known, however, is that a show held at the Ontario C.N.E Stadium in Toronto on August 19th 1980 Toronto, was cancelled due to Alice suffering the worst asthma attack he had had in years. The show was canceled and the fans went crazy causing $75,000 in damages to the venue, and resulting in 31 arrests and 17 injuries

News report video

The touring band, known as 'Hostage Fever', consisted of:

Fred Mandel - guitar
Mike Pinera - guitar
Duane Hitchings - keyboards, guitar
Erik Scott - bass
Ross Salomone - drums

A sample setlist consisted of:
  • Instrumental Intro
  • Model Citizen
  • Grim Facts
  • Go To Hell
  • Guilty
  • Pain
  • I Never Cry
  • Talk Talk
  • I'm Eighteen
  • Gutter Cat Vs The Jets
  • Only Women Bleed
  • Clones (We're All)
  • Nuclear Infected
  • Under My Wheels
  • Dance Yourself To Death
  • Road Rats
  • Elected
  • School's Out

The 'Flush The Fashion' album is not a bad record in itself, but it is not a good Alice Cooper album either. I think that the main problem that people have with it, is the very different musical style that it contains. Think of the controversy that Celtic Frost faced when they released the 'A Cold Lake' record, and this is the same thing - fans wanted Alice to play gothic rock and not synth-based new wave music.

'Special Forces'' released in 1981, was Alice's 13th studio album. It is the first of the three albums which Alice refers to as his "blackout" albums, as he has absolutely no recollection of recording them, due to substance abuse. He has stated stated “I wrote them, recorded them and toured them and I don’t remember much of any of that”. What sets 'Special Forces' apart from the others is it's an especially dark album. Throughout the first half, Alice only sings with his famous sinister-evil voice, more intensely than he did on 'Welcome to My Nightmare'. The second side of the album tends to favor novelty songs, but even those are a little bit menacing

The working title for the album was 'Skeletons In The Closet'

It's very much a Marmite album - you either love it or you hate it!

Alice Cooper - vocals
Duane Hitchings - Keyboards
Danny Johnson - Guitar
Craig Kampf - Drums
Mike Pinera - Guitar
Erik Scott - Bass

Producer - Richard Podolor

The opening cut, 'Who Do You Think We Are?' is possibly my favourite song on the album. It begins with an extended synth-scape intro, reminiscent of Hawkwind! It's a good intro, and then the song turns into a drum-and-guitar one, which you can enjoy no matter what era of rock you like most. The melody is catchy, the riffs are good, and it has a very dark atmosphere

It's a song I would like to see back in the live set

01/10 - Who Do You Think We Are? (Cooper, Hitchings)

"Who do you think we are

I'm machinery
With a semi-automatic heart
I'm unclassified
I terminate, I tear apart
I'm always there when you think I'm not
I'm razor sharp and I'm white and hot
My finger squeezes out the final shot
Say "Goodbye"

No integrity
No contemplating soul or thought
I'm insanity
I'm a camouflag-ed work of art
I've done some things I really can't describe
I've made some mouths open pretty wide
And I am licensed, trained and bona fide
Say "Goodbye"

Who do you think we are
Special forces in an armoured car
Who do you think we are
We don't care, we don't care

I'm carnivorous
Can't count the flesh that I've been through
Never sick of this
I'm red and white and black and blue
I'm always there when you think I'm not
I'm razor sharp and I'm white and hot
My finger squeezes out the final shot
Say "Goodbye"

Who do you think we are
Special forces in an armoured car
Who do you think we are
We don't care, we don't care

Who do you think we are
Who do you think we are
We don't care
Who do you think we are
Who do you think we are
We just don't care
Who do you think we are
Who do you think we are
No, no, no, we just don't care
Who do you think we are
We Don`t care
Who do you think we are
Who do you think we are
Who do you think we are
(repeat to fade)"

This is followed by 'Seven And Seven Is', a cover of the song originally recorded by the band Love in 1966. It has also been recorded by The Ramones and Rush amongst others, but this version is evil!

02/10 - Seven And Seven Is (Arthur Lee)

"Yeah! Oom oom!

When I was a boy I thought that someday I would be a man
I'd sit inside the fireplace, pretend that I was in a can
Go inside my room and put my mind in an ice cream cone
And you can throw me if you want, but I'm a ball and I go
Oom! Ba ba!
Oom! Ba ba!
Yeah!

Oh, yeah yeah!

Now if I don't stop crying, it's because that I have got no eyes
My heart lies in the fireplace, my dog lies hypnotised
And then there was the time I wasn't able to find my way
And I'm trapped inside a night but I`m a day and I go
Oom! Ba ba!
Oom! Ba ba!
Yeah!

Now, when I was a boy I thought that someday I would be a man
I'd sit inside the fireplace, pretend that I was in a can
Go inside my room and put my mind in an ice cream cone
Now you can throw me if you want, but I'm a ball and I go
Oom! Ba ba!
Oom! Ba ba!
Yeah!
Yeah..
Oom Ba ba ba ba yeah!
Oom ba ba omm ba
Oom ba ba omm ba ba yeah

(xan-na du)
Oom Ba ba ba ba yeah!"

'Prettiest Cop On The Block' is an attack of the police force, telling about a cross-dressing copper!

Musically, it's a fun song with fast guitars and dark, bending synthesizers in the background, which gives an interesting texture. He's really likes using his dark, evil growl!

The video for this song, and the other ones that 'look the same' in this 'Special Forces' section, come from a 46 minute French television special entitled 'Alice Cooper A Paris' [aka 'Alice in Paris', 'The Paris Special' and '16 Tracks'], originally transmitted on January 14th, 1982. It contains a number of music videos from the 'Special Forces' album, mixed with some older classics. Sadly there has never been an official release of this, and, while not officially broadcast outside France, copies have been circulating amongst Alice Cooper fans for ages. As always, for fans of the band, it is well worth trying to track down a copy

04/10 - The Prettiest Cop On The Block (Cooper, Johnstone, Mandel)

"I'm 6 foot 3 with a fist like a hammer
And I work with the Vice Squad when I can
And when I pull out my badge they forget all my glamour
Little guys all surprised take a seat
For me it's a first I'm a man

I'm the prettiest cop on the block
I set your souls on fire
Yes, I'm the prettiest cop on the block
I'm cool and I'm so mean
Oh, I'm the prettiest cop on the block
I've handcuffed your desire
I've got a stiff reputation with a stick like a rock
My kids are confused and my wife is a shock

I'm a full blooded man not a weak immitation
I like to flex my arms in the neon lights
I'm a queen on the street and a king at the station
It's a secret of mine, not a sign I'm gonna make that right
Because..

I'm the prettiest cop on the block
I set your souls on fire
Yes, I'm the prettiest cop on the block
I'm cool and oh so mean
I`m the prettiest cop on the block
I've handcuffed your desire
I got a stiff reputation with a stick like a rock
My kids are confused and my wife is a shock

I must look pretty shocking
In my bullet proof vest
With my black lace stockings
All this hair on my chest
When the boys see me coming
All the boys start to run
They all got their real big holsters
And I got the only gun
Because...

I'm the prettiest cop on the block
I set your souls on fire
Yes, I'm the prettiest cop on the block
I'm cool and I'm so mean
Yes, I'm the prettiest cop on the block
I've handcuffed your desire
I've got a stiff reputation with a stick like a rock
My kids are confused and my wife is a shock

I'm the prettiest cop on the block
I set your souls on fire
Yes, I'm the prettiest cop on the block
And I'm cool, so mean
I'm the prettiest cop on the block
I've handcuffed your desire
I'm so pretty, I'm so pretty,
So pretty, yes, I'm Gorgous
I`m really lovely..
And I'm so mean, so mean..
I`m damn mean
And I`m pretty...
I'm so mean..
(repeat to fade..)"

Next is 'Don't Talk Old To Me', which This starts out as a rather violent song with loudly pounding drum beat, before evolving into a rather nice and tuneful section. It's a very schizophrenic song, that is...um...interesting!

The featured film in the video, which is not an official release, but rather a fan-thing with the song set to images, is 'Falling Down'

04/10 - Don't Talk Old To Me (Cooper, Johnstone, Mandel)

"Don't tell me I should, I better, I can
Don't talk old to me
Don't shake that finger in my face no more
'Cause I might bite it off and spit it on the floor

Better get secure get my life insured
Buy a house and car that run
Better sell my bike, my leather coats
Those city auto parts and all my guns

Don't talk old to me (don`t talk old to me)
Don't talk so old to me (don`t talk old to me)
Don't talk old to me tonight, tonight (don`t talk old tonight)

Don't tell me I should, I better, I can
Don't talk old to me
Don't shake that finger in my face no more
'Cause I might bite it off and spit it on the floor

Don't talk old to me (Don't talk old to me)
Don't talk so old to me (Don't talk old to me)
Don't talk old to me tonight, tonight (don`t talk old tonight)
Don't talk old to me (Don't talk old to me)
Kill me psychologically (Psychologically)
Don't talk old to me tonight (don`t talk old tonight)
Don't bark and I won't bite
Won't bite
Don't you bark

Better get secure, get my life insured
Buy a house and car that run
Better sell my bike, my leather coats
Those city auto parts and all my guns
No fun, no fun
No fun, no fun, no fun, no fun fun fun

Now don't talk old to me (Don't talk old to me)
Don't talk so old to me (Don't talk old to me)
Don't talk old to me tonight, tonight (don`t talk old tonight)
Don't talk old to me (Don't talk old to me)
Kill me psychologically (Psychologically)
Don't talk old to me tonight (don`t talk old tonight)

That`s the last time I'm gonna say please
Don't you talk so old, don't talk old to me to night
Are you deaf? Are you deaf I`m not gonna say it no more, no no no
Don't talk old no more
Don't talk old, don`t talk old..
Noooooooo, no!
No no no no no no no......."

The first side of the album ends with a strange one - a supposedly live recording of one of the songs that had already appeared on the 'Billion Dollar Babies' album: 'Generation Landslide '81'.

I say 'supposedly' because when Renfield, Alice's personal assistant, was asked about the recording of this version, which had never been played live before the tour to promote this album, he relied: "Oops-BUSTED. Oh, well. That's show biz. But then again - when and where would have this been done live? Answer-never. Sorry to shatter any illusions". When asked about the inclusion of this song, he stated: "The new verse in 'Generation Landslide' was written in the studio while recording 'Special Forces'. AC had been toying with the idea of a remake for awhile - that just wound up being the one. I'm proud to say that I wrote the phrase "No one gives an oink..." God, I'm weird."

Other than the new verse, however, this version doesn't add much to the original song

05/10 - Generation Landslide '81 ((Cooper, Bruce, Dunaway, Smith, Buxton)

"Please clean your plate dear, the Lord above can see ya
Don't you know people are starving in Korea
Alcohol and razor blades and poisons and needles
Kindergarten people, they used 'em they need 'em
The over indulgent machines were their children
And there wasn't a way down on earth here to cool 'em
'Cause they look just like a human at Kresge's and Woolworths
But decadent brains were at work to destroy
Brats in batallions were ruling the streets sayin'
Generation landslide, close the gap between them

And I laughed to myself at the men and the ladies
Who never conceived those billion dollar babies
Lada da dada

Militant mothers hiding in the basement
Using pots and pans as their shields and their helmets
Molotov top milk bottles heaved from pink highchairs
While mothers' lib burned birth certificate papers
And dad gets his allowance from his sonny the dealer
Who's pubic to the world but involved in high finance
Sister's out 'till 5, doing banker son's hours
But she owns a Mazarotti that's a gift from his father
Stop at full speed, at 100 miles per hour
The Colgate invisible shield finally got 'em

And I laughed to myself at the men and the ladies
Who never conceived those billion dollar babies
Lada da dada

No one gives an oink about prom night or football
'Cause just getting home from school safe is a gamble and a blessing
Girlsies play with girlsies and boysies with boysies
Bored with one another, like old broken Christmas toysies
Kids are all hot, get their parents so annoysie

And I laughed to myself at the men and the ladies
Who never conceived of us billion dollar babies
Lada da dada"

The first song on the second side of the album is 'Skeletons In The Closet', a camp, corny horror movie song

It features an extremely catchy synth-bass riff that plays amidst a campy drum-machine beat along with some buzzy synthesizers vaguely resembling a harpsichord.

06/10 - Skeletons In The Closet (Cooper, Hitchings)

"Woah-oh, woah-oh
Skeletons in my closet
Woah-oh, woah-oh yeah
Skeletons in my closet
Skeletons in my closet
Skeletons in my shoes
Skeletons I can only see
Skeletons I can lose

I said woah-oh, woah-oh
I got skeletons in my closet
I said woah-oh, woah-oh yeah
Skeletons in my closet

Skeletons in my basement
Loitering on my street
Wearing my best pyjamas
Sandwiched between my sheets

I said woah-oh, woah-oh yeah
Skeletons in my closet
I said woah-oh, woah-oh yeah
Skeletons in my closet

Ooh, I see bones
I see bones, icy bones
Ooh, I see bones
Say say bones - say boys don't you see them bones?

Rattle them bones at midnight
Shaking my bed, no sleep
I find fingers in my coat pocket
Skeletons from the deep

I said woah-oh, woah-oh
I got skeletons in my closet
I said woah-oh, woah woah-oh
I got skeletons in my closet

Ooh, I see bones
I see bones, s-see bones
Ooh, I see bones
Icy bones
Say boys don't you see them bones?
No?
Heart bones, leg bones, ankle bones, arm bones,
finger bones, dogie bones, head bones

Skeletons in my closet
They even know I'm in my closet
It's my.. my closet
Not your closet
My closet
You can help me though

(whisper)
Alice we want you Alice
Alice
Alice
A-Alice

What?
Whaddya want?"

The seventh song on the album, 'You Want It, You Got It' is another strange one

Musically, it screams 80's, while lyrically it basically consists of the title repeated over and over and over...

It is not my favourite song on offer

Alongside Alice, the credited writers are Erik Scott (bass player with Flo & Eddie as well as Alice); Craig Kampf (drummer); Billy Steele (guitarist who played on the next album, 'Zipper Catches Skin') and Erik Katz

07/10 - You Want It, You Got It (Cooper, Scott, Krampf, Steele, Kaz)

"You want money - mm
You want lots of love - ah
Want a Ferrari - zoom
Oh, don't you get enough - ah, too bad
Hmm, I can get it

You want it, you got it
You want it, you got it

Mmm ... OK ...
Alright - anything can be arranged

You want it, you got it
You want it, you got it

(You want it) If you want it, if you want it, if you want it
(You got it) Then you got it, then you got it, then you got it
(You want it) If you want it, if you want it, if you want it
(You got it) Then you got it, then you got it, then you got it
(You want it) If you want it, if you want it, if you want it
(You got it) Then you g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-got it
You got it

You want Chateau Breyon for breakfast every day - Ok
You want some Spanish lover to lay in bed all day - Ole
... ooh, mm
It`s alright

(You want it) Yeah you want it
(You got it) Ooh, you got it
(You want it, you got it)
(You want it, you got it)

(You want it) If you want it, if you want it, if you want it
(You got it) Then you got it, then you got it, then you got it
(You want it) If you want it, if you want it, if you want it
(You got it) Then you got it, then you got it, then you got it
(You got it) Then you got it, then you got it, then you got it
(You got it) Then you got it, then you got it, then you got it
(repeat to fade)"

The next song, 'You Look Good In Rags', is much better

It's a mid-paced pop/rocker, which reminds me of Blondie

08/10 - You Look Good In Rags (Cooper, Hitchings)

"Yeah yeah
Yeah
I seen cool, I seen cold
I've seen the women up front, way down below
Ladies of the evenin' street and some were like vipers
I've seen 'em dressed real tight, act real loose
I've seen 'em strutting good stuff, I've seen 'em all used
Thousand dollar faces and worth every penny they spend there

But you look good in rags
With dirt in your hair
Yeah you look good in rags babe
Oh, I don't care
Ah, you look good
Yes you look good in rags
With bones in your hair
Ah, you look good in anything
Mmm, I don't care

Now I seen class, I seen tact
I've seen 'em walking down the street with smoke in their stack
And pouring into limos, they wake up in millionaires' bedrooms
I seen the hair cut short, black and sleek
Tied in 20 thousand knots, so ultra unique
Swearing by the Harpers bazaar like it were the Bible

But you look good in rags
With dirt in your hair
Yeah you look good in rags babe
Oh, I don't care
Yeah, yeah you look good in..oh...
You look good in rags
With dirt in your hair
Oh,yeah, you look good in anything
Forget about vogue, golden 100 dollar jeans,
you make a 2 dollar T-shirt obscene

Rag, rags, rags, rags, rags, rags, (etc etc... to fade)"
