Oh yes. I'd completely forgotten about that. Nice one.

I remember loving it at the time, but watching now it's pretty cringeworthy and cheesy

You can definitely see how Maiden ripped off the cyclops for their early shows.

A papier-mache head in the back drop.

If i were Alice i'd definitely sue.

Just kidding. There's not an awful lot of resemblance is there?

Hence the reason I specifically mentioned the stage prop, and didn't ask about any backdrops or use of lighting effects or anything else

Of course there is no connection between Eddie (The 'Ed) and anything used by Alice. From the top of my head, neither Alice or the ACG have ever used any kind of backdrop. The theatrics and props have always been centre stage, not hidden away at the back

See what I mean about it being cringeworthy

It's so bad it's brilliant

Maybe 88Films could look into releasing it (as #1 in a new line - forgotten music collection)!

Meanwhile...

I wouldn't trust those idiots to release that, the colours would be all wrong, it'd have the violence cut and the extras would be two hours of Calum stating how much he dislikes Metal music and prefers K-Pop

*obvious sarcasm throughout this entire post*

ANYWAY...Enough of using this thread to promote the music of other acts

Back on topic. According to the Rumour-Mill, Alice has stated that the song 'Roses On White Lace' is going to be back in the set by the time the band plays the Wacken Festival (August 5th) because the audience will be more of a metal crowd!

Whether this is a) true; b) just 'Roses' or the entire trilogy; and c) continues for the rest of the tour (including the UK dates) remains to be seen

Chop, Chop, Chop, Gail and Roses On White Lace are great tracks. I think that Raise Your Fist and Yell is quite an under-rated solo lp.

Listened to Raise Your Fist & Yell and am currently listening to Dada. :)
