Alice Cooper, the legendary architect of shock-rock, chooses the Tracks of My Years with music from The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones. His remarkable career spans over five decades and continues to rattle the cages and undermine the status quo, surprising fans and exuding danger. Drawing from horror movies, vaudeville and garage rock, he's created spectacular stage shows featuring things like electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood and boa constrictors. The gloss of touring never wears off for the godfather of theatrical rock - he's due to return to the UK next month with his usual special effects, stage mischief and massive back catalogue of albums, including 'Schools Out', 'Feed My Frankenstein' and 'I'll Bite Your Face Off' plus a brand new album - his twenty-seventh - entitled 'Paranormal'

Alice has just started the Australian leg of the tour (October 17th, Perth Arena)

No real changes in the set, but Bob Geldof joined the band on stage for the 'Schools Out' finale

Shame he is obviously reading the lyrics of the prompter screen!

It would appear that the branch of the Alice Cooper'stown sports bar in Cleveland, which opened in December 1998, has now closed down. If this is true, it only leaves the original one in Phoenix, Arizona

No reason is given for the closure, but presumably American pubs fare the same as English ones do (as I know to my cost!)
