For Alice to have Joe Perry, Slash, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page as collaborators.

Four legendary guitarists. I don't know what i'm trying to say except don't waste them. The last Vampires album was all a bit meh in my opinion.

I agree, I wasn't a fan so I'm finding it hard to get excited about this one.

The line-up for the touring Vampires

Glen Sobel [Alice, Richie Sambora, Orianthi] (Drums), Chris [??] (Bass), Joe Perry, Johnny Depp, Alice, Tommy Henrikson [Alice, Doro, George Lynch] (Guitar) and Buck Johnson [Aerosmith] (Keyboards)

No idea who 'Chris' is - I can't place him anywhere

I'm fairly sure it's Chris Wyse.

The Hollywood Vampires have just started their world tour. The first date was on May 17th at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York

Once again, the setlist consists of a mixture of a few original songs, and a lot of covers:
  • I Want My Now (New song)
  • Raise the Dead (Hollywood Vampires LP)
  • I Got a Line on You (Spirit cover)
  • My Dead Drunk Friends (Hollywood Vampires LP)
  • Five to One / Break On Through (to the Other Side) (The Doors cover)
  • The Jack (AC/DC cover)
  • Ace of Spades (Motörhead cover)
  • Baba O'Riley (The Who cover)
  • As Bad As I Am (Hollywood Vampires LP)
  • The Boogieman Surprise (New song)
  • I'm Eighteen (Alice Cooper cover)
  • Combination [Joe Perry vocals] (Aerosmith cover)
  • People Who Died [Johnny Depp vocals] (The Jim Carroll Band cover)
  • Sweet Emotion (Aerosmith cover)
  • Bushwackers (New song)
  • "Heroes" [Johnny Depp vocals] (David Bowie cover)
  • Train Kept A-Rollin' (Tiny Bradshaw cover)
  • School's Out (Alice Cooper cover)

The previously announced UK leg of the tour runs between June 16th - June 20th, and contains shows in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, and London. Because the band don't seem to be restrained by any theatrics, it possible (likely?) that there will be some changes made to the set by the time they get over here

May 23, 1968: The Alice Cooper Group appear at the Phoenix Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Arizona, opening up for Iron Butterfly. Also on the bill are Blues Image (featuring guitarist Mike Pinera, who would later play on the 'Special Forces' and 'Zipper Catches Skin' LPs)

Nice to see the Vampires cover Combination from one of the greatest hard rock albums of all time Rocks by Aerosmith.

Who else is singing alongside Perry though? On the album he sings it alongside Tyler.

The crowd aren't moving.

Silly me they are watching through their phones. Sad twats.

It seems that these days you need an onstage announcement (a la Marillion) to remind people to actually live their moments and enjoy the show.
