Be aware that there is something odd about the final article. In it, the journalist mentions that he first saw The Alice Cooper Group opening for Frank Zappa And The Mothers in California on November 8th, 1972. HOWEVER... the group had actually arrived in England on November 4th, 1972, and they spent a week at Morgan Studios in London where they recorded demos for the 'Billion Dollar Babies' album before starting their 'School's Out European Tour' on November 10th in Glasgow

The article does have a nice picture tho...

...but even this is suspect! The nurse on the right is Sheryl, but I have no idea who the nurse on the left is, or what she is doing there - as far as I am aware, Alice is only using one nurse on the tour!

Interesting

There was a slight change to the setlist at yesterdays show (August 30th, 2018) at the Ordway Centre in St. Paul's, Minnesota

'By My Lover', which has been the 5th song of the set since the tour started, was dropped and replaced by... 'Grim Facts', a song from the 1980 'Flush The Fashion' LP, which hasn't been played live since appearing in a concert at Glasgow on February 19th, 1982

Whether this remains a permanent fixture in the set remains to be seen

A poor review from Classic Rock Magazine of the new live Paranormal album

"It may seem like a contradiction in terms, but the fact that there are no surprises here is a surprise in itself. The last Alice Cooper album, Paranormal (the one the tour’s named after) was a bit of a critically- acclaimed Bob Ezrin-produced cracker, but how many tracks from it are on here? None. The Paranormal album and tour featured guest appearances from the original Alice Cooper band (aka the proper Alice Cooper band). Are they on here? No, sir, they are not.

What we do have is an in-form version of Alice’s latest incredibly adept band of dazzling session players. A band to whom his fanbase have little emotional attachment, playing the same songs every other incarnation of Alice Cooper’s band have been playing live and releasing on live albums for decades. The audience? Just another prop. Evidently ecstatic, but there’s no interaction, no humanity, no warmth. School’s rarely sounded quite so out."

It makes me wonder of the reviewer, Ian Fortnam, had a copy of the record at hand, or whether he just doesn't actually know what he is writing about. Admittedly it's only one song, but the last time I looked at the track listing, the 'Paranormal' album was represented!
