I was going to order it on Tuesday from Amazon but it said i wouldn't get it until next Thursday so i thought what was the point and will order it later.

I'm guessing the pre orders must have sold out their initial stock.

Amazon is just crap with pre-orders these days. Often times it's better to just order it on release day you'll get it much faster.

I have had all my music preorders in my hand on the day of release so far this year from Amazon. As i said, i guess they must have sold out their first batch of stock and my order if placed would be the next batch.

It's my fault really.

I very rarely pre order albums honestly it was just i didnt want to miss out on the boxset

Because i refuse to pay for Prime delivery if i want a single movie for example i'll pre-order a cd to make it free delivery, then hope i don't forget i've ordered the cd.

Im just usually too broke to pre order when i have to pay up front

Luckily Amazon don't charge up front for pre-orders.

I have a strict spending budget - which i've gone over thanks to 88 Films third off sale today - so have to make sure i allocate funds for any pre-orders.

I tend to write down everything i order online so if i preordered an August released cd tonight i'd write it down as X amount spent under August.
