Listened to Eternal Hails through twice now.

Once i got over that awful drum sound and turned the bass down to one - Must be terrible for those that can't tweak their sound systems and only have preprogrammed sound such as pop, jazz, metal etc - there's a pretty good album to be discovered here.

Two doom influenced opening songs. The cd notes thank Tony Iommi and Lief Edling and their bands are very influential on these two songs and then... HOLY SHIT!

Wake of the Awakened...This could be the best song Darkthrone have ever recorded. What a monster track of black ****ing metal.

Funny that, I was hoping to buy Eternal Hails in HMV this afternoon and they had none in stock. I'll check again in a couple of weeks.
