A bit of history for you, Mr. Dusk

During the early 1980's, there was very little metal music that was played on British radio. Even the likes of Iron Maiden, Motorhead and Saxon were frowned up by the broadcasting industry

The only respite us metalheads was 'The Friday Rock Show', a programme presented by Tommy Vance, which was broadcast on a Friday evening, between 10:00pm - midnight

One of the section of this weekly show was a session by a new band

These two songs would have been circa 1987





*Note - there was a third song in the session, 'Hosanna In Excelsis', but I can't find the original (raw) demo BBC version. Instead, here is a live version from 1988

The voyage of discovery can be very exciting. How did people react to this in the early 80s?
