I had a listen to the first few tracks from the new Nile album I'm disappointed with what i heard just felt bland and a bit lacking which is a shame you could always count on Nile to melt you face off.

Listen to the new Cattle Decapitation album instead it’s insane.

That's odd because Metal Hammer felt it was an improvement on the last couple of releases citing the reasons you give as being the failure of those albums.

With the end of 2019 approaching im compiling my favourite albums of 2019. Some great releases this year should be fun revisiting them all over the next couple of weeks.

I wanted to link another song, but Relapse Records are obviously hot on the take down notices with YouTube because only the official 'singles' are available.

Anyway... Sometimes you just need to blow away the cobwebs;

Two beautiful amazing albums they sound and feel exactly like the covers look. Its black metal mixed with some very beautiful almost meloncollic music and brings something different to the table. If your on instagram follow this guy his photography is very haunting and and beautiful.

I only discovered this band recently and i was no prepared for the vocals you will love of hate them but there is no denying that they are unique and they will grab your attention. This is a different type of pain anguish and emotion right here. Enjoy or not

Continuing with great extreme metal released this year Prostitute Disfigurement released this gem. Running at just 31 minutes this is a relentless slice of old school death metal sounds like early Deicide with a hint of Morbid Angel. I love the artwork but i always found the band name a bit stupid and juvenile :xmaslol:

I'm a bit late to the party with this one, but I've been listing to Mgła's latest album a lot over the last few days. I have no idea how to say the band name though, my Polish is pretty poor  Never listened to them at all until this week.

I really like it, makes good commuting music because it's quite trancendental which is perfect to block out the kids going to school in the morning.

I'll check out the other albums in reverse order over the next few weeks, but I've got Grift lined up for next.

I've been loving the new Ihsahn track too, a teaser for his forthcoming EP. It's a lot heavier than any of his recent songs!

It's clear to me that the drummer is a fan of Darkthrone  I actually thought Fenriz was playing the drums hah.

Raised By Owls - 'The Santanist'

"Christmas time comes once a year!
Christmas time is finally here!

We drape the tinsel like entrails.
Around this dead, rotting tree.
A plate of treats and a glass of sherry.
Oh, Father Christmas, bringer of glee.
Strike down all non-believers.
Grind their bones into dust.
Enshroud ourselves in these garments, we must.
A ritual to sate fanatic lust.

All Hail!
Hail Santa!

Oh, bearded great one.
We are your servants.
Eager for you to slither down our chimney.
We yearn for your presence. And your presents.
Bestow us with your majesty.
Sworn to Saint Nick, we’ll always be.
His coat is crimson red, rides night upon his sled.
Dare not to make his list, your heart will be left filled with dread.
He knows of your intent. Knows how your year was spent.
Empties his sack so big, he spreads his joy without relent.

In the chokehold of winter, we make a defiant stand.
Reject tradition, outsiders as one:
All hail Santa Claus!

Sacred dagger primed in hand; I will become a Santanist.
Drink the blood from Rudolf’s neck, indoctrinated Santanist.
Initiation now complete, I have become a Santanist.
Putrid mortals bow to me; I am the mighty Santanist."

That's understandable. You've had a lot of shit to put up with.

Love the denim by the way. Stylish front with the patches all being the same black and white. And that back patch...

The back needs changing apart from the back patch going to get rid of the Emerpor and Nattefrost ones fill it with smaller black and white patches.

Thought i'd listen to the re-recorded classics on cd 2 of Venom's Cast in Stone album.

Cronos sounds even more depraved than he originally did on my fave Venom song - Warhead.
