I've been listening to a lot of Darkthrone recently, and t reminded me of this article a lot so I had to see his campaign poster. The bottom part translates basically to "don't vote for me"

I watched a really strange Fenriz video (no, really!) on YouTube the other day, it was like a round table discussion about how music has an impact on your life at a young age, or something, and he talked about getting a Uriah Heap LP off his uncle, they played some tracks from Fenriz's own LP copy from the late 70s and he sat there with all of these intellectual types headbanging and doing 'black metal hand poses'

I'll try and find the link again

Only noticed Varg Vikernes has his own Fantasy RPG

Curious how it plays, genuinely tempted.

Do you know what, despite what I said the other day about Deicide, I do actually like this a lot. I'll check out the new album when it comes out.

96year-old death metal grandma!

"Inge Ginsberg survived the Holocaust and became a spy for the Americans during WWII, smuggling arms to fight the Nazis. She married a composer and they wrote songs together in the 40's and 50's that were sung by Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Doris Day, and Rosemary Clooney, among others. 60 years later, she got back into music and fell in love with Heavy Metal, which she now performs with world-renowned Classical musicians Lucia Caruso and Pedro da Silva – a.k.a. the TritoneKings."

I don’t really like the song but I like her spirit! Good on her.

I'm trying to figure out what it has to do with Extreme Metal.

The music is just metal, it's not Black or Death.
