I remember seeing Opeth at Manchester Academy on the Blackwater Park tour. We were near the front but all i did was stand there and gawp in amazement at the band rather than rocking out. They made Rush look like Status Quo. Justin101 and Nordicdusk like this. |

| Morningrise has always been my favourite Opeth album. When that debut album came out I was blown away by the melodies and the technicality but their 2nd album blew it out of the water with 5 tracks and 66 minutes of music. Black Rose Immortal at just over 20 minutes is an outstanding piece of music! I love Nectar as well though, relatively short at just 10 mins  Demdike@Cult Labs likes this.
