Playing this in the car on my lunch i really believe that this is an criminally underrated masterpiece. Only released two demos and one full album an absolute travesty.

It's sounds pretty original to me as you can actually hear the bass guitar. Nordy's right, the vox are old school Black Metal but the musical arrangements are a bit proggy in places, quite melodic really.

I like it.

By some miracle you can actually buy the Kvist cd so it's gone straight into my Amazon basket.

Just find a film or Giallo Essentials box set to go with it *cough* and i'll put an order in tomorrow so it will arrive Friday hopefully.

This was why i miss Nordy when he sods off for months on end. No one else posts weird Black Metal shit we've not heard of.

I streamed it while I went for a walk earlier, I liked it as well, has a vibe of Emperor without the keyboards. Will definitely listen to that one again

Wow! Amon Amarth's UK popularity looks to be on the wane.

The new album The Great Heathen Army charted at #95. That's quite good for an extreme metal band but not when you consider 2016's Jomsviking landed at #30 and 2019's Berserker at #25.

It’ll be interesting to see how Arch Enemy fare next week with their new one out today.
