I lost interest in them when Angela left.

Alissa doesn't, i don't know, can't quite put my finger on it.

I know exactly what you mean haha, and I've just finished listing to the new album and it's entirely unremarkable. They seem to still have loads of fans though so let's see next week!

(I'd much rather listen to Amon Amarth!)

Just read that Machine Head played a surprise hour long set this afternoon at Bloodstock.

That would have been pretty awesome for any fans there.

I know that feeling its just not the same and live Alissa doesn't have the presence Angela had.

I listened to two songs a couple of times before ordering. Loved them. There's only five or six songs in total so i didn't want to have heard them all before the cd arrived.

Thanks once again for the heads up. That's the kind of Black Metal i like. Hypnotic in the playing.

Whats worse is the album is only 36 minutes long it flies by.

I'm used to that with Black metal. More or less every Darkthrone album is between 30-40 minutes.

I was thinking more the fact they only released one album so 36 minutes and that greatness is over and there are no other albums to move on to.

Well, yes. You definitely can't say that about Darkthrone.

Who is in the band? Did they move on and form new collaborations or was it one album then all the band members disappeared into obscurity.
