I don't have any Jack Daniels, but I'll probably raise a couple of glasses of Jim Beam to the metal legend tonight.

According to 5 Live, Lemmy's local, The Rainbow Bar and Grill on Sunset Strip has sold out of Jack Daniels and is full of people wearing Motorhead shirts.

Half Girl - 'Lemmy, I'm A Feminist', directed By Jorg Buttgereit and found as a special feature on the Arrow release of 'Nekromantik'

He had a cameo as a taxi driver in Hardware.

I remember the kids had a joint birthday party when they were nippers and we had prizes for musical statues.
The song of choice was Motorhead's ACE OF SPADES......Thing is-I didn't pause the song until the 2 and a half minute mark-times that by twelve kids.
Bouncig and running about for over half an hour=no more wild brats running about!

So here's to you Lemmy RIP.

Many people are called legends, especially once they're gone. But in this case, I have to agree. It's true, this guy was a legend. His music, his life, his character... I never met Lemmy, but I know I would have loved him for being a real unique person with opinions and flaws and merits and shit... To cut a long story short, Lemmy will be sadly missed.

I raise a toast to Ian Fraser Kilmister - gone, but unforgotten.

Lemmy - one of the last guys who really understood that rock 'n' roll was more than music...

Very true. I would have loved to sit down with him and a bottle of bourbon and talk about his collection of Nazi memorabilia, opinions about the Holocaust and (red) Indians, life, movies, music
