And finally, in fact a good comparison - Motorhead - 16 studio albums
This makes me think of the famous verbal exchange between Vincent Price and Michael Reeves!!!

Well, as mentioned in the Alice thread, I don't think a lot of his later output measured up to the earlier recordings

I grew disillusioned with Metallica after the '...Puppets' album. I got the '...Justice' and 'Black' albums, but (other than a few odd songs), they left me cold. Saying that, I do have the covers album, which I like, but that's possibly because it has the punk/NWOBMN attitude, and reminds me of the bands I grew up listening to

When it comes to Maiden, the death knell (on record, at least) was when Blaze Bailey joined. I had everything up to that point, but I didn't bother getting the 'X-Factor' album, and I have not got any of the subsequent releases. However, I did see them live on the 'Virtual XI' tour and I do have all the live DVD releases, apart from 'En Vivo', because I saw it broadcast on telly, and I found the editing very off-putting!!

You can't dismiss them as poor just because you don't own the albums.

It does puzzle me as i've said before. You can't appreciate metal and rock after just a couple of listens as you probably know. It's not like pop.

I hope you don't mind me saying this but you don't seem to have moved with the times music wise.

I lost interest in Maiden when Blaze joined (was never a fan of Wolfsbane), I didn't even buy those two albums until about 10 years ago. But, when Bruce and H rejoined and I heard The Wicker Man, I instantly loved it and have been a huge fan again since

As for Metallica, And Justice For All is my favourite album and has been since about 1991

(Obviously for the songs, not the shitty production)

Just listening to it now.
