The only reason i used Wicked Game by Him was it was the song that got me into them and it's one they made their own. The same with Type O Negative and Summer Breeze.

So What! is a brilliant cover version but was on an album of cover versions. There's a difference... at least in my mind there is anyway.

This is the beauty of having so many C-90'S. i recorded compilations, individual albums and best of's by loads of artists. All i need to do is have a look what is on the newer albums and add it to those best of's if need be.

The album 'Garage Inc' was released in 1998. Metallica had previously covered 'So What' as the 'B' side to the single 'Sad But True' five years earlier in 1993!

Agreed - MM's version of Sweet Dreams was close to making my top 10 for instance.

And, they first played it in October 1992 in London. It was while singing this song that Hetfield blew his voice out, meaning he had to have vocal training so they could carry on with the monster tours in support of the Black album
