Another band I've lost interest in since John Frusciante left, really can't get into the last two albums despite Josh Klinghoffer being a great replacement.

I still haven't got their latest, but the one prior, I'm With You, is really good.

I'm the same.

True. But Frusciante was one of a kind. I'm no guitar player, but Snow and quite a few other songs only sound right with John on guitar. Period.

It's like when he left the first time and they had Dave Navarro in the band, One Hot Minute is a good album, but there's too much guitar on there for a Chili's album, he had a tendency to multi-layer guitar parts which doesn't work within the context of the band, Frusciante was more subtle in his playing, almost Hendrix like in places (Under The Bridge especially).
And live, it just didn't work so it was great when John rejoined for Californication

Have you got the new live album, Inspector?

It got a cracking review in Classic Rock mag.

Supposedly everything David Live (From just a couple of months prior) failed to be.
