Thunder are to release a career-spanning 28-track album called ‘The Greatest Hits’ on September 27th to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

The release is available in four formats: 2CD, 3CD, 3LP and digital.

The third disc on the 3CD edition boasts a live session recorded at Planet Rock’s studios on 18th January 2019

I agree, the demos and alt versions are usually a one time listen out of curiousity!

Hopefully there will be a regular edition as well.

For me Sonic Temple is when the Cult started going downhill.

Love all the stuff beforehand, afterwards meh.

Steel Panther will release a new album, entitled 'Heavy Metal Rules', on September 27th, 2019

The band have described the LP as "...the ultimate party album. Anthem after anthem and hook after hook, the songs will provide the soundtrack to your new bitchin' heavy metal life."

No real details at the moment, but the legendary Blue Öyster Cult are due to release a new album in 2020 - their first since 'The Curse Of The Hidden Mirror' in 2001

In addition to that, the band are reissuing newly remastered versions of four albums:
  • Cult Classic (originally released in 1994)
  • Heaven Forbid (originally released in 1998) [Not available for North / South America]
  • Curse of the Hidden Mirror (originally released in 2001) [Not available for North / South America]
  • A Long Day's Night (Live CD/DVD and Blu Ray) originally released in 2002 - Blu Ray version to be released for the first time)

and five new live releases:
  • Live show from the iHeart Radio Theater 2012 (40th Anniversary).
  • Live show from Hard Rock Casino Cleveland 2014
  • Live show from Rock of Ages Festival in Germany 2016
  • 40th Anniversary of "Agents of Fortune" shot in L.A. in April 2017 [ “Agents of Fortune" album played front to back]
  • BӦC 45th Anniversary show Live in London June 17th 2017 [includes BÖC first album played in its entirety back to back]
