Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark continue their 40th anniversary celebrations with the announcement of Souvenir, a career-spanning seven-disc box set. This new package features five CDs and two DVDs and is housed in a ten-inch box with a hardcover book, a poster and some 10-inch prints. CD 1 and CD 2 feature all the band’s singles from ‘Electricity’ to ‘What Have We Done’, as well as a brand new single ‘Don’t Go’. The third CD contains 22 previously unreleased recordings from the archive – selected and mixed by Paul Humphreys – with titles like ‘Unreleased Idea,’ ‘Organ Ditty,’ and ‘Guitar Thrash’! Two live shows complete the audio: one from the History of Modern Tour recorded at the Mermaid Theatre in 2011 and a previously unreleased live show from the Dazzle Ships Tour from the Hammersmith Odeon in 1983. The first of two DVDs contains BBC TV performances from Top Of The Pops, Old Grey Whistle Test, Later With Jools Holland and more. The other contains a live show from the Crush Tour at Sheffield City Hall in 1985, another live show from the Architecture & Morality Tour at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in 1981, as well as Crush – The Movie. Ozzy Osbourne / See You On The Other Side / 24LP signed vinyl box | Super Deluxe Edition - unless illness causes it to be postponed! "Sony’s Legacy Recordings will issue a mammoth Ozzy Osbourne vinyl box called See You On The Other Side in November. The box delivers 16 solo albums across 24 vinyl records (there’s six doubles and one triple) with each pressed on 150g multi-coloured ‘splatter’ vinyl. Many of the albums are previously unavailable, or long out of print, on vinyl. See You On The Other Side also includes a newly compiled non-album track collection called Flippin’ The B-Side and the label point out that 1991’s No More Tears was remastered from the flat analog master, so this will offer uncompressed audio and is now actually a 2LP set. The box also includes a flexi-disc featuring never-before-released demo of ‘See You On The Other Side.’ The box comes with TEN newly-designed 24″ x 36″ posters (one for each album issued between 1981 and 2010) plus twelve “augmented reality (AR) experiences” which are supposed to have ‘triggers’ that, lead to rare live performances and exclusive video content (more details apparently in the coming weeks). Most importantly, considering this is far from a cheap box set, each collection comes with an individually numbered vellum certificate of authenticity hand-signed by OZZY. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Ozzy likes his own box set! “This one’s the most elaborate collection so far,” he says. “It’s very well thought-out and well put together. It’s got everything in there that you possibly could want and some surprises along the way. The sound of a vinyl record is different, and I do believe that vinyl sounds better.” See You On The Other Side is only available from the official Ozzy store [£499.99] and is released on 29 November 2019" Albums Included: Blizzard Of Ozz (1 LP) Mr. Crowley live (1 LP) * Diary Of A Madman (1 LP) Bark At The Moon (1 LP) * The Ultimate Sin (1 LP) * Tribute (2 LP) * No Rest For The Wicked (1 LP) * Just Say Ozzy (1 LP) * No More Tears (for the first time as a 2 LP set) ** Live & Loud (3 LP) * Ozzmosis (2 LP) * Down To Earth (1 LP) * Flippin’ The B Side (newly compiled collection of non-LP tracks - Listing below) ** Live At Budokan (2 LP) ** Black Rain (2 LP) * Scream (2 LP) * * Currently unavailable on Vinyl ** Previously unreleased on Vinyl Flippin’ The B Side track listing Side A “You Looking At Me Looking At You" - Originally from the “Crazy Train” UK 7” single, released 1980 “One Up The B Side” - Originally from “Bark At The Moon” 7” single, released 1983 “Spiders” - Originally from “Bark At The Moon,” 7” single, released 1983 “Hero” - Originally a hidden track from the “No Rest For The Wicked” US CD and cassette release, released 1988 “The Liar” - Originally from the “Miracle Man” UK 12” single, released 1988 “Don’t Blame Me” - Originally from the “Mama I’m Coming Home” UK 7” single, released 1991 Side B “Party With The Animals” - Originally from the “Mama I’m Coming Home” US CD single, released 1992 “Living With The Enemy” - Originally from the “Perry Mason” UK CD single, released 1995 “Voodoo Dancer” - Originally from the “I Just Want You” UK CD single, released 1996 “Back On Earth” - Originally from “The Ozzman Cometh” compilation, released 1997 “No Place For Angels” - Originally from the “Gets Me Through” CD single, released 2001 “Walk On Water” - Originally released on “Prince Of Darkness,” released 2005

Pink Floyd / The Later Years 1987-2019 | Super Deluxe Edition "Pink Floyd are to release, The Later Years 1987-2019, another massive music box set in the style of 2016’s Early Years package. This time around, as the title suggest, the set focuses on the later period when Roger Waters had quit and David Gilmour, Rick Wright and Nick Mason were left to continue on their own to produce studio albums and undertake massive world tours The period generated record sales of over 40 million worldwide and included three studio albums: A Momentary Lapse of Reason, The Division Bell and The Endless River as well as two live albums: Delicate Sound of Thunder and Pulse. The label claim over 13 hours of unreleased audio and audio/visual material feature in the set (remember a new remix is ‘unreleased’) including the 1989 Venice and 1990 Knebworth concerts. Both A Momentary Lapse of Reason and Delicate Sound Of Thunder have been remixed, with the former also ‘updated’ (thought to be new Nick Mason drums and alternate Rick Wright parts). They appear on the first three CDs and a fourth gathers together unreleased live and studio recordings. CD 5 is the 57 minute Knebworth concert from 1990. Note The Division Bell isn’t included on CD here, but is on one of the six blu-rays The first blu-ray features the new 2019 of A Momentary Lapse of Reason in 5.1 and high res stereo, the 2014 mix of The Division Bell and seven unreleased studio recordings also in 5.1 and hi-res stereo. Three further blu-ray discs cover live material: Delicate Sound of Thunder, Pulse and the Venice and Knebworth concerts. All in hi-res stereo and 5.1. A final blu-ray disc offers a massive amount of videos, concert films, rehearsal footage and more. The Later Years includes five DVDs but these merely repeat the content on blu-ray discs 2-6. Where surround sound is offered these are mostly Dolby Digital and DTS. Finally, for the audio, this set includes two seven-inch singles: ‘Arnold Layne’ performed live by Pink Floyd at the Syd Barrett Tribute concert, 2007 and Lost For Words from the Pulse tour rehearsals at Earl’s Court. Both singles have a special etched image on their B-sides In terms of ‘stuff’ this also comes with a 60-page photo book, three reproductions tour programmes and a collection of replica memorabilia like posters, tour passes and stickers. "Mötley Crüe have announced a 30th anniversary reissue of their fifth studio album 'Dr. Feelgood'. Available to buy on 29th November via Mötley Records, the standard CD and LP editions include the original 11-track album alongside embryonic demos of ‘Kickstart My Heart’, ‘Without You’ and the title track ‘Dr. Feelgood’. For the keener Mötley Crüe aficionados (with deeper pockets), the deluxe version boasts the album on CD and coke bottle green coloured vinyl plus three 7-inch picture discs, a doctor’s bag, a prescription notepad, slip mat, Mötley Crüe playing cards, guitar picks, drumstick pens, pins and various other paraphernalia. To coincide the reissue, Mötley Crüe have also launched a veritable smorgasbord of limited-edition ‘Dr. Feelgood’ merchandise. “After feeling robbed of a No. 1 album with Girls Girls Girls, the band was hell bent on topping ourselves on every level,” bassist and band founder Nikki Sixx comments. “Bringing in Bob Rock to produce and push us musically and lyrically was just what the doctored ordered… the band was clean, lean and sober and this album has some of our proudest work.” Originally released on 1st September 1989, ‘Dr. Feelgood’ spawned five singles – ‘Dr. Feelgood’, ‘Kickstart My Heart’, ‘Without You’, ‘Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)’ and ‘Same Ol’ Situation (S.O.S.)’ - and sold more than six million copies in Mötley Crüe’s native US alone." https://www.planetrock.com/news/rock...SiEn8G9cgStO-Q

That had those tracks listed above plus a demo of Time for Change and unreleased track Get it for Free. Weirdly i was listening to this album yesterday, demos and all. I have to say that the demos are like different songs altogether. Both the music and lyrics differ dramatically in some places, especially the lyrics. Most demo bonus tracks sound like lo-fi versions of the originals but not these. Check out Dr. Feelgood. The lyrics are totally different and the chorus is mainly female vocals. Here's the original. |
