Fathom Events will screen theatrically a brand new 4K restoration and reconstruction of INXS: Live Baby Live. The restoration will be screened in select theaters across the nation on December 9.

Official description: Six years to the day of Live Aid and five years and a day since the band supported Queen at Wembley Stadium, INXS headlined their own show at the famed venue to a sell-out crowd of 73,791 crazed fans. Twenty-eight years on, the film has been painstakingly restored from the original 35mm negative, and is now presented in glorious cinematic widescreen, created by going through the film shot by shot and repositioning every single one to get the best out of the frame.

This exclusive event will feature a special "lost" performance discovered during the restoration – 'Lately' from the 'X' album, now returned to its rightful position in the concert setlist. Check local listings and buy tickets: here.

*A preliminary date for a Blu-ray release of the new restoration has not yet been officially revealed.
The article refers to American Cinemas but hopefully there will be a physical edition of the concert film as well at some point. This one is a fantastic concert and I remember listening to it live on BBC Radio 1 (back when they actually did that kind of thing)!

Saxon vocalist Biff Byford will release his debut solo album ‘School of Hard Knocks’ on Friday 21st February via Silver Lining Music.

He confirmed the 11-track album was self-produced and it features a solo band consisting of Fredrik Åkesson (Opeth) on guitars, Christian Lundqvist on drums and Gus Macricostas on bass, with Biff himself playing additional bass

‘School of Hard Knocks’ also boasts guest appearances from Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell, Alex Holzwart (Rhapsody of Fire), Nick Barker (Voices), Dave Kemp (Wayward Sons) and Biff’s Saxon band mate Nibbs Carter.

The album was recorded by Jacky Lehmann at Brighton Electric Studios in Brighton (UK) and mixed at Queen Street Studios in Stockholm (Sweden) by Mats Valentin.

The album opens with the spoken word track ‘Inquisitor’ and songs include ‘Welcome to the Show’, ‘School of Hard Knocks’, the prog metal ‘The Pit and the Pendulum’ and covers of the Wishbone Ash song ‘Throw Down the Sword’ and Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Scarborough Fair’

Maybe he will break a fingernail, and the release will be postponed until 2022!

Ozzy Osbourne to release 12th solo album in January 2020 | Planet Rock

"Although the follow-up to June 2010’s ‘Scream’ is yet to be titled, Ozzy joked to Rolling Stone in August he’s going to call it ‘Recuperation’.

He explained that the album, which is tentatively set to feature nine tracks, helped to keep him occupied and distracted during his dire year.

“The most depressing thing I’ve been thinking is, ‘Am I gonna walk properly again? Am I gonna be able to perform again?'” Ozzy said two months ago.

“I thought, ‘Well, if I just lay there watching ****ing World at War again, I’m not gonna f---ing do anything. So do what you can, even if it’s a little, just so you’re doing stuff … I don’t think I can do a rock concert right now. I’ll go, ‘Hello,’ and that’s it.”"

It's been on my radar for about a month now. I aim to get it on Friday from Sainsburys and get a bonus 400 Nectar points when i do.

It's good that the better songs on Golden are on it like Shelby 68.
