Lots of great albums there! I love Scott Walker but have not heard Climate of Hunter. Must seek that out.

Wonderful records - when I'm in the right headspace, Suicide sounds as mind-blasting as it did when I was a kid, whereas the third Velvet Underground record includes some of my all time favorite songs - Set Free etc.

Be sure to seek out Climate Of Hunter, PaulD! It's very different to his other stuff, whether that's taken to mean his later avant-garde phase or the earlier bedsit crooning I guess he's better known for... I hated it at first, it's kind of MORish in places and even features a duet with Billy Ocean(!), but I've since learned to love the way the skewed lyrics sound atop the shiny, airbrushed production.
