Oh yes.

A new Favourite: Purephase Tones For DJs by Spiritualized - 8 tracks of...well pure tones. Lovely and crystalline.

That sounds interesting. I like some droney ambient from time to time and love Spiritualized. They make very textured dreamy music anyway so I imagine this is nice listening.

it's very nice but fairly rare and (as far as I'm aware) Vinyl only.

Cool, I'll keep an eye out for it. 99% of the music I buy is on vinyl so that's fine.

I saw it cheap (about £25) on Discogs.

It's about £40 - £50 elsewhere.

Discogs is where I usually buy all my records these days. Such an amazing resource! Thanks for the info, much appreciated

Here's where I list my favourite albums and everyone says they've never heard of them. Although I'm pretty sure Vince and Sam will know exactly what I'm talking about....

In no particular order:

1: Piper at the Gates of Dawn - Pink Floyd
2: You - Gong
3: Green - Steve Hillage
4: Give and Take - Here and Now
5: Now Is the Happiest Time of Your Life - Daevid Allen
6: Monster Movie - The Can
7: In Search of Space - Hawkwind
8: Strangeitude - The Ozric Tentacles
9: Angel's Egg: Radio Gnome Invisible Part 2 - Gong
10: Electric Music for the Mind and Body - Country Joe and the Fish

Honourable mentions to:

In the Court of the Crimson King - King Crimson
Delay 1968 - Can
Autobahn - Kraftwerk
Phaedra - Tangerine Dream
Cannibal Holocaust OST - Riz Ortolani
5 Dolls for an August Moon OST - Piero Umiliani
Are You Experienced? - The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Peppermint and Incense - The Strawberry Alarm Clock
Vanilla Fudge - Vanilla Fudge
Revolver - The Beatles
In the Land of Grey and Pink - Caravan
Galactic Zoo Dossier - Arthur Brown
Death Walks Behind You - Atomic Rooster
Fish Rising - Steve Hillage
Brain Salad Surgery - ELP
Fragile - Yes
The Yes Album - Yes
Replicas - Tubeway Army

Oh...and there's tons of others. I love my music.
