Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird (1977, live)

Just listened to the song again. Now here's a question... whilst I like all three guitar solo parts, I keep preferring Collins' solo at the end. Rossington's at the beginning is also very nice, and Steve Gaines also throws himself into it. But still, Collins is my favourite. Is there any reason or scientific explanation for that?

Maybe Rik knows a bit about the technical stuff. My layman explanation is that Collins' solo (the third and last one) is more direct and the rawest of all three solos. But is there more to it? Is it the guitar?

This is not a contest. I don't mind mistakes in live takes.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
