No idea why, i just don't.

I have multiple albums by Purple, Whitesnake, Dio, and Blackmore's Night but no Rainbow.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Rainbow Rising and Down To Earth. Both still hold up to this day.

It's actually still very good. It hasn't really dated at all. A bit like PWEI, the music sort of felt futuristic when it came out around 92 and now seems at home with the likes of Marilyn Manson and such like.

Indeed. I remember first seeing them on TOTP when I was a kid and being completely hypnotised by their musical style, 'look' and aesthetic.

Listened to 3 completely different albums so far today. Work's IT department has slyly blocked the Spotify servers so I've been resorting to my old 'work ipod' which I don't use any more, as a result there is no music newer than 2 years ago on it.

Iron Maiden - Piece of Mind
Bjork - Vulnicura
Depeche Mode - Violator
