I have a few After Forever albums.

Have you got Mea Culpa the double with The Evil That Men Do on it?

I don't have any actually, just what I've heard online, I'll see what they have in Fopp tomorrow, I remember them having a decent Metal selection. I have 1000's of CDs all packed away in my tiny city centre flat, but my mission over the next few months is to whittle it down to a decent collection and get rid of all the random crap and CD singles! Then I can build it up with more albums. I'll probably re-discover a load of things I used to love, but I know I have a large collection Britpop and I don't know how I feel about that

I used to really like Cast but haven't listened to them in years. Wonder if they still stand the test of time or just sounds dated?

As for singles? Don't get rid of any by anyone popular - Maiden, Oasis, Manics etc. Especially early stuff. Chart crap? Well yeah get rid.

I was more into stuff like Sleeper and Elastica rather than the 'boy' stuff haha. Cast I don't know how they'd sound today, probably still a bit more credible than say Ocean Colour Scene or Kula Shaker. Bands like The Charlatans and Suede I think can stand the test of time.

Only one song really seems to stand out and doesn't feel dated is Walkaway

I was recommended a band called Idles. Found their album Brutalism on YT
A bit too melodic for me on first listen, so I found some live footage that revealed an odd looking but quite noisy bunch. And now I can't get one of their songs out of my head
Sold then.

Cast. Mate loved them. I didn't. I liked Silverfish and Calvin Party at the time, so it was always a laugh picking stuff to play when he came round

Girl Band - Holding Hands With Jamie.
Their first 'proper' album, from 2015. It's like sticking your head in a jet engine or something.
Still need to see them live. It will happen.
