This is the earliest known concert performance of The Who doing 'My Generation.' It was filmed at the 'Glad Rag Ball' on Friday, November 19th, 1965 and broadcast a few weeks later, on Wednesday, December 8th

Roger had recently rejoined the band after getting kicked out, and you can still sense the hostility from the others during the performance

It's possible that after this performance, Daltrey flushed all of Townshend, Moon and Entwistles pills down the toilet. As a result, it was either Keith or Pete who wasn't happy, and punched Roger, who obviously hit him back and knocked him out

Upshot... Roger was fired again!

More proof-reading! I'm submitting my dissertation on Saturday so I'm nearly finished with my higher education!

Good concentration music!
