Wendy O'Williams, from The Plasmatics, was doing that back in the 80's!

Still for me one of the more haunting tracks from Mayhem

Roxy Music .... their first album.

Yes, this is Reynolds' fault but excuse I need not to listen to this. Ably backed by Paul Thompson's powerhouse drumming (the ideal anchor for some of the more gossamer moments here ), Ferry & co romp through their live set with panache and a frozen glamour that is exquisitely brittle to the touch .....

Ahem. I like this record a lot. Released originally without flagship single Virginia Plain ... the cd slightly suffers from its inclusion when I am in that mood ... whatever. It's not Rock ... but it still rolls

10/10.

The problem here is just like when I saw them live the drums are louder than the vocals at many points totally ruined the first three or four songs of the gig. I love Mayhem but I didn't wait all those years just to hear hellhammer play a 20 minute drum solo

I can't seem to get away from Monster Magnet, they seem to be on my "wavelength", if you catch my drift.

Mind you, Mrs. troggi bought me "Brothers in Farms" by Steve 'n' Seagulls so I've added that into the mix... My morning doggy walks could get a little more interesting.

Not sure if this will work trying post off my phone. Anyway it's a full set of Mastodon doing all songs the amazing Scott Kelly performed on over all their albums fantastic.

I've never listened to Cellar Darling before but have heard their name around, so checked out a song from their forthcoming album, suffice to say it's going on my purchase list
