I've just got tickets to see the Cravats in Brighton in December, i'm not too familiar with their stuff but i love The Very things another band featuring The Shend.
Looked at some of the Cravats stuff on Youtube and enjoyed what i saw.
They are playing with another band called Alternative T.V that look interesting too.

The new Hollywood Vampires album "Rise" is a great listen. Johnny Dep's vocals on many tracks are quite the ear opener, especially the (too faithful?) cover of Bowie's "Heroes" (I still think he looks a bit like that "angry cat" in his "Sausage" ads though).

The title track (well, extention of the title track), "We Gotta Rise", is a great, biting satire of US politics today and the closing track, "Congratulations", is a superb "pondering" song. Trapped between those two are some goodies and some not so goodies along with a couple of obvious "Alice tracks". One track has a couple of guest-stars in the rarely seen shape of Jeff Beck and John Waters and it works!

All in all, "Rise" is a "must-get" for any Cooper, Perry or Dep fan and a decent album for anyone else's collection.
