I'm acquainting myself with them for the first time. I've always had a best of but there's some good music in the deepest darkest recesses of the albums.

Been playing the Strange Days album all week. Love it. You do too going off your playlist quoted.

The Doors is it?

Plus points for the Demon for flagging up Peace Frog one of my favourites.

I'm a bit hazy at the moment but i would say the first two albums are the best, love stuff like The crystal ship and 20th century fox, **** it the Doors is one of my favourite bands and one of the few bands i know most of they're stuff alongside Bauhaus and Nirvana, maybe it's just me but i feel the optimum album count is 5 or 6.

After 7 or so it all becomes same shit different day.

I've never listened to the two Doors albums after Morrisson, any good?

I do really like "An American prayer" though which is his poetry set to music and also the Concert album.

All the classic Doors albums have really good stuff on, even the Soft parade.
