You're not far off, if I have a headache after work I'll often put something extreme on to listen to on the bus as it's often easier on the head than listening to 50 people chattering away

Something "wall-of-sound" like Emperor is usually just the ticket

Drone stuff usually makes me feel worse to be honest, I like it when I don't have a headache though

I've never been too keen on drone stuff.

I quite like Swans and have a few of their albums (Are Swans classed as drone?) same with Neurosis, (Again may not actually be classed as drone) but Sunn 0))) leave me cold.

Swans and Neurosis defy labels because they incorporate so much stuff into their music, I also like both! Sunn 0))) is full on drone though.
