The Latest edition of Classic Rock magazine (Out next week) has a readers polled list of the best songs of the 21st century so far!

The rules are - One song per band / artist and it's gotta rock

I've been so out of touch with music since around 2000 I never even heard some of these bands.

Haha. When i saw the top ten i was like 'Yep, can't really disagree there'.

Even the #1 which is almost twenty years old, i may not play it much now (But when i do it sounds great) but at the time i absolutely played it to death - as did everyone else.

I'll post the next batch in a few minutes.

I know i haven't linked any of the songs posted but if you highlight one, right click (or the phone equivalent), search, then the song comes up on Youtube to play immediately.

I've been doing it as i was posting the list.

Nowhere Highway by The Answer is a great song fantastic vocals by Lynne Jackaman.

Best rock band out of Ireland since Thin Lizzy. I bought their first couple of albums but lost touch with them. Needless to say (Revival, 2011) is going on my wishlist.
