One of the only prolonged no.1's i can still listen to. I'm pretty sure Sherri Moon Zombie learned to act from this song.

I'm not going to pretend i love the early stuff as much as i do the rest (I only got into them around the Green album thanks to a girl i was going out with loving them) but everything from Document onwards is so varied in style and substance. From catchy pop to sombre ballads to genuine hard rockers you'd never know what you were getting from album to album and that genuinely made them great in my opinion. That and some tremendous songs.
