Been listening to Thundermother. They have a new album out at the end of the month. They are supposed to be playing live in London in September. I have not booked yet as I would imagine it will be cancelled. We'll see.

Two tracks from the new album.

I kid you not Dave. I've just read not ten minutes ago the album review in Metal Hammer and the likeness to Halestorm / Black Stone Cherry / AC/DC had me about to seek them out on Youtube only for you to have posted two tracks here.

All i have to say is that they f*cking rock and i love it.

Definite purchase from me.

So I listened to Pin Ups. Whilst some of the guitar work is passable, it's still terribly unessential imho. The version of See Emily Play being the worst offender.

NEXT!!!!

Back on topic, I've been listening to Billy Talent this morning, starting with the first album and I'm currently onto their fourth, Dead Silence.
Saw it in the cinema.
Could barely see the screen for green smoke...

The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway for me, though Trespass and Nursery Crime and Foxtrot all have their moments ahem.

I was going to ask which album Solsbury Hill was on then realised it was a Gabriel solo track.

I don't know them well enough to comment. I asked my Dad, a big Genesis fan who been listening to their music since before I was born, and he said Wind & Wuthering .
