I listened to the R.E.M double album best of collection Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage 1982-2011, one full of brilliant songs.

More recent nostalgia, the second to last concert I went to before the world exploded...

Before the video loaded i didn't know who it was of course and it made me think of the last band i saw live...yes...Within Temptation at Manchester Academy....in 2007.

*Starts reminiscing with a tear in eye*

Here are some tickets from bands i saw at the peak of their powers. 1993 was an awesome summer for gigs.

Guns N' Roses - The Cult, Soul Asylum, Blind Melon

Metallica - Megadeth, Diamond Head, The Almighty

Bon Jovi - Billy Idol, Manic Street Preachers, Little Angels

I miss those days so much, pre-internet, you had to phone or queue for your tickets, they were printed with band artwork, something to keep and remember! Now you get an email with a barcode on it And I'm sorry to say that I'm part of the problem, it's my job to make sure people get their barcodes

After work I'll dig out some of my tickets!

Nightwish - Shudder Before the Beautiful

Endless Forms Most Beautiful (2015)

Been giving this album a bit of hammer recently. Excellent stuff.
