Default Duran Duran - ANNIVERSARY

I've been listening to their new album that I didn't even know existed. I really like it. It's great how they can retain their core 80's sound but still make it sound modern and fresh.

That's my favourite Crue song and to be honest it doesn't sound any different to the last remastered release. Perhaps a slightly 'warmer' drum sound but that's about it.

I wouldn't have known it was newly remastered.

I've listened to all of them, and they don't sound very different, they have probably just boosted the volume to modern levels because mastering in the 80s was a lot quieter.

Whilst working we have to have the radio on now as per diktat, so after 6 hours of Swedish House Mafia I usually come home and listen to this lot. A cleansing experience.

It is very cathartic that album, it used to be one of my "bus ride from hell" albums for the journey home after work... Drowns out all of the chavs on the bus.
