The Hellacopters - Reap a Hurricane

Eyes Of Oblivion (April 1st 2022)

Yay, The Hellacopters are back after 14 years.

Guess that means nothing from Entombed or Lucifer next year.

Released today, Christmas Eve, thirty one years ago. It became the UK New Years Number One single the following week.

Lacuna Coil - Naughty Christmas

Is this really six years old? Wow. How time flies. Anyway a modern Christmas classic for me.

Seriously spooky.

Tarja - We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Tarja's Spirits and Ghosts (Score for a dark Christmas) has become a December tradition. It's one of my favourite ever albums. I must have played it in full over thirty times this December.

The past few weeks i've been listening to all the new releases i bought through 2021 (Not including the six from the sale last week) which have been -

Foo Fighters - Medicine at Midnight
The Pretty Reckless - Death by Rock n' Roll
Accept - Too Mean to Die
Alice Cooper - Detroit Stories
Epica - Omega
Rob Zombie - The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy
Adrian Smith / Richie Kotzen - Smith Kotzen
Imelda May - 11 Past the Hour
Darkthrone - Eternal Hails
Cannibal Corpse - Violence Unimagined
Royal Blood - Typhoons
Iron Maiden - Senjutsu
Cradle of Filth - Existence is Futile
Billy F Gibbons - Hardware

I like all the albums, however if i was going to say, my least favourite is Darkthrone - Eternal Hails, whilst the ones highlighted in red are my top three in no particular order.

Epica's Omega is the album that has grown on me over time and was unlucky to miss out on a top three place.
