Agreed. I was supposed to be going to see them back in the late 80's. A girl i was seeing at college loved them and we had tickets. However she dumped me and went with the lad she dumped me for.

My mum and I were going to go to the Wembley concert but back in those days it was harder to buy tickets, there was a local company that did coach trips to the big concerts but they’d sold out so we listened to it on Radio 1 instead!

Yeah, it was coach trips for me back in the 80's as well. There were loads to all the concerts both at arenas and theater sized venues. That's how i saw the likes of Maiden, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue and Clash of the Titans at Birmingham NEC.
