Listening to it along with the Winger and Shark Island albums from around the same time it still sounds relevant, it has four shit hot tracks, and has a streetwise sound. The Winger album sounds dated and tacky, very sugary. Shark Island is by far the best for songs though.

I had to stop watching this, it was annoying me how one-sided all the arguments were, apart from the commentator everyone else seemed to be particularly anti-modern classical music. I'll have a look at the 2nd episode since it might have a bit about Shostakovich, but if it's the same interviewees I'll give it a miss. I'm hoping the third part is about Reich and Glass but they have their own very in depth bio docs available anyway.
